CoolFlashLights.com is a privately owned family business with our office located in Crofton and our warehouse is located in Bowie, MD. We are about 20 miles east of Washington D.C. in the Maryland suburbs. We began doing business in May of 2002 after a few years of planning.

I started this business because I like do a lot of camping and have always thought a good flashlight is very cool and useful tool. I also work as a Certified Flight Instructor at Freeway Airport in Bowie, MD and a reliable flashlight is a must item. I have always had an interest in gadgets and flashlights certainly fell in to this category. So years ago I went on line to find a flashlight to take camping with me so I could impress my camping buddies.

   Well, to my surprise the choice for flashlights was disappointing! So I decided to go into business for my self and pick and sell the best flashlights and that's how it started. I am having a great time discovering, using and selling new flashlights and lanterns.
